ORILLIA – Driverseat is pleased to announce the opening of its newest market, Orillia Ontario. Franchise owner Andy Moore has big plans for the official launch, scheduled for Saturday, June 4.

“What makes this opening so unique is the size of the market.”, states Brian Bazely, co-founder of Driverseat. “This community has a population base of 30,000 which will be the first small market location opened by Driverseat since the launch in 2012.”

Orillia is a community located 150km north of Toronto. The town is supported by its largest employer, Casino Rama, along with manufacturers, tourism and the service sector.

“I am excited about the attention our business has already enjoyed,” says Andy Moore, Franchise Owner Driverseat, “We did a soft opening at the beginning of the month and have already completed many Designated Driving rides and Airport Chauffeur rides.”

Driverseat specializes in Designated Driving, Airport Chauffeur, Assisted Transport and Vehicle Chauffeur services.

The company drives your vehicle for you when you are unable to, or when using better judgment, choose not to drive yourself.

“Andy will do very well with Designated Driving in this market.” remarks Brian. “Customers enjoying dinner and drinks at a cottage, or in Barrie, can simply use the mobile app to book a Coachman (this is what we call our drivers) to come and drive them and their vehicle home. In addition, all Driverseat franchises within 200km of a major airport do well with the Airport Chauffeur business.”

Driverseat Orillia will host their Grand Opening on Saturday, June 4, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Brewery Bay Food Co. The celebration includes prizes, giveaways, special discounts on Driverseat services, a chance to test your skills wearing ‘Beer Goggles’ and much more.

As a resident of Orillia, Andy is committed to supporting the community and will be donating all proceeds to Sick Kids Foundation.

Driverseat customers can download the mobile app and use it to book a Designated Driver, see a map of how they will travel home and pay for the service, all at the click of a button.

The Grand Opening will include a special discount which means customers can be driven anywhere in Orillia for only $15, a significant savings over the $25 regular price point.

Driverseat Orillia is in good company. The organization, based in Waterloo Region, opened their very first location in 2012 in Barrie Ontario, located just 35km south of Orillia.

Since then the company has grown to 23 locations servicing over 150 cities in Canada. With the success of the Canadian growth, the business is now positioned to begin opening in the U.S.

Orillia residents are invited to attend the Grand Opening and can contact Andy Moore for more details. Andy can be reached at 705-242-5696, [email protected] or on Facebook at facebook.com/driverseatorillia.
