The City of Barrie wants to better understand the needs for loading zones during the next phase of the Dunlop Streetscape Construction Project.
Please take a minute to think about your existing loading arrangements, and how they may be impacted by street closures. Keep in mind that larger vehicles will be more impacted than smaller vehicles because they need more room for manoeuvring.
The City is considering creating two temporary loading zones to provide safe access for large vehicles and transport trucks:
1) Bayfield St – east side, between Dunlop St E & Simcoe St
2) Collier St – south side, between Owen St & 55 Collier St (Bent Taco)
If you have any ideas on how to improve loading during construction, please share your feedback with the City of Barrie.
