The Springwater – Vespra Lion’s Club has pledged $5,000 over the next five years to retrofit the washroom facilities at the Doran Park Picnic Shelter in Midhurst.
The funds will be used to upgrade the existing facilities and ensure the shared-use washrooms are accessible and barrier-free. Upgrades include clear walkways with an even grade, wider entryways, automated doors, grab bars, emergency call switches and adult-size change tables.
