Simcoe Family Dentistry on Ferris Lane in Barrie is hosting its annual community barbecue this afternoon.
Friday's event supports the Barrie Food Bank and the Women and Children's Shelter of Barrie.
Dr. Mikhail Pliousnine says he will match the pounds donated in dollars to the local women's shelter.
Musician Daniel Humphreys is providing entertainment for those in attendance and there is also a bouncy castle for the kids.
The event continues until 6 p.m., rain or shine.
