No injuries were reported after firefighters responded to a blaze on Coughlin Road in south-end Barrie today that involved three townhouses and a pickup truck.
Firefighters responded to the scene, which is located near Essa Road and Mapleton Avenue, around 8 a.m.
Barrie fire department officials said it appears to have started in the garage at 91 Coughlin Rd.
The investigation, involving both the Barrie fire department and the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM), will continue at the scene throughout the day to determine the cause.
Around 9:30 a.m., Barrie fire officials tweeted that the blaze was under control.
Firefighters also remained on scene checking for hot spots.
Traffic has also returned to normal in the area.
