BINGO! Giving to Delta gaming company this holiday season a win-win

'So far, Delta has donated frozen foods and fresh items to the David Busby Centre to support their kitchen program that is currently supplying meals to the homeless'

Throughout the month of December, Delta Bingo and Gaming locations across the province are collecting non-perishable food items for local organizations this holiday season.

Locally, Delta Bingo Barrie is collecting food that will make its way to a charitable organization in the community that helps battle homelessness and the prejudice that comes with it.

Manager Jessica Baker said the David Busby Centre will be the local recipient of donations.

“So far, Delta has donated frozen foods and fresh items to the David Busby Centre to support their kitchen program that is currently supplying meals to the homeless,” said Baker.

People can drop off items any time during hours of operation, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., at 52 Bayfield St.

For every item dropped off, they will receive a ballot for a prize draw where they can win a $100 Delta gift certificate, and one grand prize across all Delta locations

The draw takes place on Jan. 4 and the winner will be contacted by phone.
