Bike, snowblower and other items stolen from Clapperton St. shed

City police say items are valued at more than $3,000

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a theft was reported in the city of Barrie.

On Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, police responded to a Clapperton Street residence after the homeowner discovered that a shed located on the property had been entered and property that had been stored within the shed had been stolen.

From the investigation that followed, police have determined that a lock on the shed had been cut off sometime Thursday night or early Friday morning allowing the following items to be obtained:

  • Mountain Bike - Scott, Hard Tail, Black frame with green handlebars, MEC pedals
  • Snow blower - MTD/Yard works, 357cc, 28 inch cut
  • Air Compressor – Gold  Coloured – Bostitch
  • Winter Boots - Sorel, Black

The stolen items are valued in excess of $3,000.
