Georgian Grizzlies women’s volleyball player Domenica De Francesco was named to the OCAA women’s volleyball east division all-rookie team on Friday as part of the 2019 OCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships hosted by Cambrian College in Sudbury.
De Francesco made an immediate impact in her first season at Georgian.
The Barrie native finished second on her team in points with 171 and finished in the top 25 in league scoring as well.
She led Georgian in kills with 143, was fourth in aces with 23 and was fifth in digs with 81.
