After a three-day bash in the city’s downtown on the Canada Day weekend, Barrie Wrestling hosts an outdoor wrestling party event Saturday.

Barrie Wrestling returns to 49 Ferris Lane on Saturday, July 9 for WrestleParty 2022, which will be just the second outdoor show in the field of the promotion’s venue.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and bell time is 5 p.m. Domino’s pizza will be available for purchase.

Having run family-friendly professional wrestling events monthly at that location since 2014, Barrie Wrestling has also branched out to having shows for the Downtown BIA and on July 30 and 31, will be part of the 50th Kempenfest festival and will host an Empower Simcoe Night on that Saturday.

Tomorrow’s event has eight matches including three championship matches, a grudge tag-team bout and the debut of two New York-based talents.

The promotion is also teasing a major announcement regarding a name most wrestling fans will know for an upcoming show.

Barrie Wrestling is also launching a Patreon page this Saturday at 12:01 a.m. to go along with their YouTube channel and all their content.

Tickets for this Saturday, July 9 are $25 front row, $20 general admission and can be purchased at OMG Games, Doug Laurie Sports and Auctions or by contacting Barrie Wrestling on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and email at [email protected].
