I am so proud of Premier Kathleen Wynne. It's always been about the people of Ontario and what government can do to make their lives better. She has always lived this value.
That's why we've done the things we've done over the past four years. Whether it's removing the financial burden of going to college or university, free prescription drug coverage for children and youth, full-day kindergarten, better pensions, building a strong economy or helping workers through things like a $15 minimum wage, it was always done to improve people's lives.
Today, I can confidently say that I'm more inspired to keep fighting for the people of Barrie and Innisfil. We need to fight against the austerity that will come with a PC government. We need to stop Doug Ford and the damage he will do to our province and our community.
The Liberals are the only choice to stop this from happening in Barrie-Innisfil. This riding needs a strong voice at Queen's Park and I will be that voice.
