LiveBarrie is thrilled to announce that the YukYuks Comedy Event is returning to Barrie for a second month in a row, this time offering a more intimate experience at CW Coop's in downtown Barrie.

This March 25 event promises to be a night of side-splitting laughter, delicious food, and drinks, with plenty of free parking available in front and across the street.

Headlining the event is Ian Sirota, a world-renowned comedian who has opened for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Jerry Seinfeld and Robin Williams. He's been nominated for two Gemini Awards, including Best Comedy Performance, and has a long list of television credits, including regular cast member and writer for Comedy Inc., Comedy Now, and Gutterball Alley. Ian's humor is sharp and unapologetic, and his observational comedy and lightning-fast crowd work will leave the audience in stitches.

The event will be hosted by MC Cedric Newman, a professional comedian who has performed on stages across Canada and Europe. Cedric's passion for making people laugh is evident in his versatility and love for the craft. He has worked with industry big names such as Russel Peters, Shaun Majumder and Gerry Dee.

Evan Dubois, the 23-year-old witty ginger with a guitar, will also feature in the event. Evan's mix of stories, observations, and songs will provide something for everyone in the audience.

The YukYuks Comedy Event is a perfect fit for fundraisers and corporate events, and Ian Sirota has been a regular contributor to the Dynamic Funds Humour Me Comedy Competition, which has raised over $8 million for charity. His students have included mayor John Tory of Toronto, who took home the trophy with Ian in 2017.

Seating for the event is first come, first served, so the audience is encouraged to arrive early, grab some food and drinks, and enjoy the show. During the event, the audience will be serviced at their table, and they can also order from the bar in the back.
