Casino Rama's entertainment centre will remain shuttered this weekend.

The cyber attack that has shut down Casino Rama and other Ontario casinos operated by Gateway Entertainment and Casinos has claimed another victim.

The concerts scheduled for this weekend at Casino Rama have been postponed, the company announced Wednesday afternoon.

According to a brief media release, Casino Rama "has made the decision to postpone" this weekend's shows.

The Chris de Burgh concert scheduled for Friday, April 21 has been postponed to Thursday, April 27 at 8 p.m.

The Warrant, Quiet Riot and Helix concert scheduled for Saturday, April 22 has also been postponed, but no new date for a makeup concert has been confirmed.

However, it appears there may be good news on the horizon.

"At this time, we do not expect changes to any concerts scheduled for after April 22," noted the media release, hinting that a resolution to the issues spawned by the cyber attack may be imminent.

For now, however, Casino Rama and all other casinos operated by Gateway in Ontario remain shut down. They were closed abruptly on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Casino Rama said for ticket purchases made through Ticketmaster or using My Club Rewards, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to make the new date, you can request a refund from the original point of sale.
