Troubadour Festival returns Saturday to downtown Barrie

Lemmon Stage at Homestead Cafe will come alive from 9 a.m., with acoustic performances by a different artist every hour until 4 p.m., including the likes of HarpAcash, Julianna Jones, Michael Costantini, and more.

At 4 p.m., the Songwriters Workshop, presented by the City of Barrie, will take place, showcasing the talents of veteran singer-songwriters Danny Michel and Lindy Vopnfjörd hosted by Chas Hay.

A wide array of local artists such as Rebekah Hawker and B. Knox will be delighting attendees throughout the day in the Muskoka Brewery Beer Garden, located at the top of Meridian Place.

“We are thrilled to be presenting the Troubadour Festival once again,” says organizer Ryan Andersen.

The Troubadour Festival has always had a commitment to showcasing a diverse mix of music genres and fostering local, regional, and nationally recognized talents. Previous years have seen performances by Joel Plaskett, Hollerado, Cowboy Junkies, Matt Andersen, Dwayne Gretzky, Natalie MacMaster, and Whitehorse.
