Residents are invited to explore the Simcoe County Museum to see the enchanting Tales of Fantasy: Our Myths and Legends exhibit, currently on loan from the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science.

This spectacular exhibit is only available until April 7, so be sure to check it out while it is still here!

Lose yourself in captivating legends and myths from Quebec, Canadian, and First Nations heritage. Encounter strange beasts, mysterious phenomena, and magical creatures. Go on an adventure filled with flying canoes, werewolf hunts and more.

Don’t miss out on this captivating exhibit. No registration is required — just come and let your imagination soar!

Open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, fun public activities will be available for kids of all ages throughout March Break. All public activities are included in regular museum admission rates: $8 adults, $6 seniors and youth, $4 children, preschoolers and Museum Members free.

Exhibit: A Novel Experience: Stories in Every Corner

A student-led exhibit from the Museum and Gallery Studies students at Georgian College, A Novel Experience: Stories in Every Corner features publications from the Museum’s collection, and the materials used to create them such as typewriters and a small printing press. The exhibit opens with an event on Saturday, March 16 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Simcoe County Museum, curated by the students of Georgian College. Let yourself rediscover the joy of reading in this afternoon of literary celebration. Food and drinks will be provided, with a book swap where you can share your favourite books and trade them for some delightful new stories.
