The city wants to hear about your favourite place or space in Barrie! Residents are encouraged to submit Barrie’s best open, public places for consideration for feature in the city’s 2024 Waste Collection Calendar.
Typically, the city collects resident photo submissions of Barrie sights and scenes to feature in the calendar each year. This year, the city will accept written submissions of residents’ favourite places and spaces.
The city will narrow down the submissions, and then allow residents to vote for their favourites after the submission period ends. The most popular locations will be featured in the city’s 2024 Waste Collection Calendar.
How to enter:
- Tell us your favourite place or space in Barrie! Some ideas could be your favourite place to relax, your go-to waterfront spot or where you head to embrace and appreciate the city’s culture, heritage or natural beauty.
- Visit the online contest submission form via barrie.ca/calendar to share your favourite place or space.
The following submission rules apply:
- The location must be within the City of Barrie and be an open, public place (no organizations, businesses or establishments).
- You must be a City of Barrie resident to participate.
Submit a place or space idea until July 31 via barrie.ca/calendar.
