Looking for a folky way to ring in the new year?
The Mariposa Folk Festival is broadcasting 'New Year's Eve with Mariposa' on its Facebook page tonight at 7 p.m.
This past October, Mariposa held satellite concerts at venues in and around Orillia.
Festival technical staff have put together a one-hour video of some of the highlights from the satellite concerts held at the Orillia Opera House.
You are invited to tune in and enjoy performances by Lydia Persaud, Evangeline Gentle, Coco Love Alcorn, Angelique Francis, and Shakura S'Aida (with special guest Terra Lightfoot).
The show begins at 7 p.m., so plan your early evening New Year's Eve festivities around some great Mariposa music.
