The Collingwood Brewery is bumping up this year's Craft Beer and Cider Fest to warmer weather and with more breweries and cideries featured.

There will be 15 different breweries and ciders at the event, which has been moved from mid-November to Sept. 9 at the local beer garden.

“Last year, the fest was really popular, even in frigid November,” Chris Freeman, head brewer and general manager at The Collingwood Brewery, said in a news release. “So we thought, why not pull out all the stops.

"This area has really reached critical mass as a craft beverage destination — people know that now, so we’re making the most of it. Plus, early September takes advantage of daylight and warm weather," Freeman added.

The festival will run from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9 at The Collingwood Brewery's beer garden on Sandford Fleming Drive.

There will be 10 breweries and five cideries plus the Misfits Hospitality food truck, live music and a vendor marketplace.

Admission is $20 and tickets are available online at TheCollingwoodBrewery.com
