The Skydiggers are performing a Christmas show in Orillia at St. Paul's Centre on Dec. 14.

Happy first week of September and, for students and educators, that means returning to school. Hope everyone had a successful first day back, and are looking forward to a successful year ahead.

Arts and culture-wise, we are gearing up for an incredible 2023-24 season here in Orillia. We are absolutely spoiled for choice in our little burg, and I am not sure we realize it. I don’t think there is another town in Ontario of our size with the numbers of arts and culture events that we have.

So, if you are planning on going to a show or event, get your tickets now. Commit early so the organizers know they can count on you, and don’t panic and cancel a show because of poor early sales. We are lucky to have so many shows here, let’s support them!

Big announcement today! The Skydiggers are making St. Paul’s Centre in Orillia one of their fall 2023 tour stops. The iconic Toronto band who made their debut in the '90s have a strong following decades later and really put on a wonderful show.

The show at St. Paul’s is on Dec. 14 and will be a Skydiggers Christmas show ... and you know you’re going to love it. If you can’t make Dec. 14 here at St. Paul’s, head on over to Meaford on Dec. 15 and catch the show at the Meaford Hall there. You can get your tickets now at www.skydiggers.com
