NEWS RELEASE

Bravado, Barrie’s show choir, is excited to announce the Show of Shows, a musical spectacle reimagined.

This show marks Bravado’s return to the big stage and will feature tight choral harmonies, dynamic choreography, and more than a few laughs.

Steampunk visuals set the tone for this eclectic mix of songs that cover the spectrum from Somewhere (West Side Story), Masquerade (Phantom of the Opera) and the beautiful, operatic Flower Duet, to the energetic Footloose, the campy Time Warp, and Elton John’s Crocodile Rock, to name a few.

As with all of Bravado’s performances, creative collaborations contribute to the wide scope of the Show of Shows. Bravado’s dance chops were tested by choreographer David Lopez, a star of Toronto’s production of Kinky Boots, who set the moves for several big dance numbers including a medley from that show, Raise You Up/Just Be. The spectacle will be magnified by the “Magic Man,” Andrew Eland, and enhanced by our own magnificent local talent, including master of ceremonies Beth Allen, and young ballerina Summer Fallis.

Bravado will be welcoming the Ukrainian National Federation of Barrie and Simcoe County to feature their work in our community as a demonstration of our commitment to building community through music.

Come join us.

Tickets are $30, available from members, or online from the City of Barrie’s ticketing agent, Ticket Pro. Please also check out our website www.bravadoshowchoir.com.
