In my opinion, the response of the Oro-Medonte council to the Principles Integrity report reflects badly on all who voted not to reprimand Coun. Cathy Keane for her egregious behaviour.

The decision to instead dismiss the integrity commissioner, trying in vain to fulfil their mandate to hold the councillors accountable for their actions and to the voters they work for, is even more alarming and shocking to me.

I am angry, disheartened and embarrassed to be a resident of Oro-Medonte.

It seems to me that, with very few exceptions, the Oro-Medonte councillors are a group out of control with no moral compass. (The election of) 2022 cannot come soon enough.
