Two staff members at Collingwood Loblaws test positive for COVID

One of the employees had worked at the Hurotario Street store as recently as Thursday

Two team members who work at the Loblaws in Collingwood have tested positive for COVID-19, and one of those staff worked at the store as recently as Thursday.

According to Loblaws website, one staff member tested positive on Nov. 27. That staff member last worked at the Hurontario Street store on Nov 21.

The other staff member tested positive on Dec. 4. They last worked at the store on Dec. 3.

As of Dec. 3, there are six active cases of COVID-19 in Collingwood, with the last case reported on Dec. 2. However, under yesterday’s reporting from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, there were three cases on the list with their municipality listed as pending.

The health unit will be providing updated numbers this afternoon.
