In between working with clients to help them meet rehab and fitness goals, the team at DEL.FIT is giving back to our community in a big way.
The Summer Kickoff Bash fundraiser for Hospice Simcoe, which follows DEL.FIT’s well-received first-year event prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, takes place on June 22 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at 35 Cedar Pointe Dr. Unit-35-36, Barrie.
The bash is sure to be a joyous day with something for the whole family.
Attendees can look forward to fun-filled fitness challenges, face painting for kids, local vendors offering delectable treats and refreshments and the chance to win a thrilling prize: A Model X Tesla for the entire weekend!
The event is free and there will be opportunities on-site to donate to and support the work of Hospice Simcoe.
“Our last fundraiser raised $1,200 for Hospice Simcoe and this year we’ve already quadrupled that number,” said Krista Francis, Owner & Head Strength Coach at DEL.FIT.
This year’s goal is an ambitious $10,000, and with the support of sponsors and the community, the event has already raised just over $6,000 so far.
“The team understands that each person's wellness journey is unique, and we specialize in tailoring our services to meet the individual where they are and help them get to where they want to be whether it's by providing chiropractic and massage therapy services, one on one personal training, or bridging the gap between the two,” Francis said.
Recognizing the tremendous impact of Hospice Simcoe on our community, DEL.FIT is delighted to have representatives from hospice on-site at the Summer Kickoff Bash.
