As the holiday season approaches, Children's Treatment Network (CTN) is once again extending a warm invitation to kids and youth with disabilities and developmental needs, along with their families, to take part in a magical and stress-free holiday experience. These free, inclusive events offer a sensory-sensitive and accessible environment where kids and youth can truly embrace the holiday spirit.

The festivities at CTN's holiday events promise to be unforgettable. Kids and youth will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with Santa, all without the usual pressure and stress of large crowds or strict time constraints. It's a chance to capture those precious holiday memories in a welcoming setting.

In collaboration with their community partners, CTN's holiday events take place at various locations across Simcoe County and York Region, making them easily accessible and comfortable for families who are already familiar with these venues. To further enhance the experience, CTN has added time slots to their registrations to minimize wait times. This thoughtful approach ensures that each family receives the time needed to create a memorable holiday experience.

But that's not all – CTN's holiday events are designed to ensure that everyone can participate in the joy of the season. Activities such as colouring, playdough and sensory rooms will be available to families while they wait. These events offer a delightful blend of fun and relaxation for all, and the specific activities may vary between different event locations.

One family who is excited to experience the magic of CTN's holiday events this year shared their heartfelt thoughts: "My oldest and youngest are on opposite ends of the [Autism] spectrum, which has made a Santa visit impossible for the past two years, so this will mean so much to my children. I can't thank you enough."
