On Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at 5:40 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers attended a home in Cookstown for a domestic assault.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a second suspect

Further investigation revealed the male was bound by a probation order and was determined to be breaching the conditions of that order

Detectives are currently in the initial stages of the investigation and a heavy police presence will be in seen in the area of Victoria Street, Vespra Street and John Street while the area is being processed

This vehicle had been reported stolen and had also been reported as a suspect in a gas drive off in the City of Barrie

Charged is one youth and one adult

A Lincoln MKX sport utility vehicle was travelling at 155 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone
