INNISFIL - A youth has been charged with arson following a house fire in Innisfil.
On Monday, Oct. 22, 2018 around 11 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service and Innisfil Fire and Rescue Services responded to a report of a structure fire in the St. John's Road and 7th Line area.
The occupants managed to escape the fire unhurt. A pet dog perished.
As a result of investigation, a youth has been charged with arson and killing an animal. Due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) no further information can be released.
