INNISFIL - On Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, around 9:40 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to an Innisfil home for a report of a domestic assault.
Officers learned that a woman threatened both her husband and son and allegedly assaulted her husband by slapping his face. She also damaged the home by smashing plates in the kitchen.
A 44-year-old Alcona woman was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault, Weapons Dangerous, Mischief Under $1,000 and 3 counts of Uttering Threats.
She was held in custody for a bail hearing. The victims did not require medical attention.
