Barrie Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in a robbery of a Rogers store.
On Thursday, Aug. 22 at approximately 6 p.m., two suspects entered the store, which is located at 44 Cedar Pointe Dr., in Barrie.
Once in the store, the suspects walked to the counter where they confronted the employee, displayed a weapon and made a demand for merchandise.
The employee complied with the demands and provided the suspects with access to the merchandise, which they placed into a duffel bag.
The suspects then fled from the store on foot, where they are believed to have gotten into a waiting vehicle in the adjacent plaza at 74 Cedar Pointe Dr.
The employee was not physically injured.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1
- Male
- 5'11" – 6’ tall
- Average build
- Wearing dark or black jeans, dark grey or black hooded sweatshirt and a black mask
Suspect #2
- Male
- Approximately 6' tall
- Average to thin build
- Wearing a red hooded, pullover sweatshirt, with “Roots” written in white lettering on the left sleeve, baggy pants
- Red and black running shoes
- Carrying a dark duffel bag with “NIKE” written on it
Suspect vehicle
- Silver 2-door, newer model car
- Tinted windows, and a low-riding chassis
