A traffic stop this morning on Fairview Road, not far from Barrie police headquarters, led to the seizure of a firearm, ammunition, a wad of cash, and suspected drugs.
City police say uniformed officers stopped a car, which had its four-way flashers on.
Police noticed "fresh damage" and believed the vehicle had been involved in a collision.
Three males were arrested at the scene. Police also allege the driver was impaired.
All have been charged and held for a bail hearing.
