Two suspects sought in break and enter investigation

The Barrie Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects following a break and enter.

On Friday, April 6, 2018, police were called to Telus Mobility located at 34 Cedar Pointe Dr. in the City of Barrie in response to an alarm. When police arrived, they found the suspects had forced entry through the front door and the glass had been smashed. The suspects had ransacked the store just after 3 a.m. and quickly fled on foot prior to police arriving.  

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1

  • Male, white (25 to 30 years)
  • Medium build
  • Black hair - short
  • Wearing a grey hoodie, black jacket, black track pants and black/red running shoes with a white trim

Suspect 2

  • Female, white (30 to 35 years)
  • Slim build
  • Blond hair
  • Wearing a black hooded jacket, black leggings, black running shoes with a white trim, and carrying a black duffle bag

Police are reminding business owners of the importance of maintaining and updating video surveillance equipment. Quality images help to identify suspects, can aid in arrests and have a tremendous impact during court proceedings.
