A 25-year-old Barrie man was arrested early Tuesday morning after police located him inside a local Tim Hortons on Cundles Road East, which he had (allegedly) broken into, after shattering the glass on the front door just before 3 a.m.

Earlier that morning, (it is alleged) the accused caused a disturbance at a Petro Canada after he attempted to purchase a second package of cigarettes, despite not having enough money. He quickly became enraged with the clerk and when leaving the store he knocked over a sign causing it to break.

The accused has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and break and enter. He will appear in a Barrie Court of Justice in February.
