Public Intoxication The Barrie Police were busy last night with multiple occurrences dealing with intoxicated individuals. Between 4 p.m. and 2 a.m., police made seven arrests at various locations throughout the city for public intoxication.

The Barrie Police were busy last night with multiple occurrences dealing with intoxicated individuals.

Between 4 p.m. and 2 a.m., police made seven arrests at various locations throughout the city for public intoxication.

Arrested individuals were held at the Barrie Police Service until able to care for them self.

Theft, Breach of Probabation, Public Intoxication

On Wednesday, October 4, 2015 at 4:02 p.m., police were called to 55 Mary Street, the LCBO, for a theft. Police arrested a male for theft as well as breaching his probation order.

While on scene a female not related to the incident approached police and the accused causing a disturbance. The female was intoxicated and refused to stop interfering with police. She was subsequently arrested where she continued to be disruptive kicking at police while being placed in the police car.

Both parties were transported to the Barrie Police Service and held for bail hearings.
