Three people charged in Innisfil home invasion from 2021

Police say victim suffered serious injuries; Suspects hail from St. Thomas, Sarnia and Willow Beach

Three people have been charged in relation to a home invasion and robbery that occurred in 2021 in Innisfil.

On June 8, 2021, South Simcoe police responded to a residence, where a “targeted robbery for a quantity of cash” had taken place, according to a news release.

Suspects had broken into the home of the victim, who confronted them, leading to “a violent struggle.”

The suspects fled on foot. 

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 

On Monday, police say they arrested three people and charged them with robbery, break and enter, and aggravated assault.

Charged are a 32-year-old St. Thomas man, a 36-year-old Sarnia man and a 43-year-old woman from Willow Beach, which is located near Georgina.
