Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Southern Georgian Bay detachment received a report of overnight mischief and theft from an ATM machine at a King Street Midland business on Aug. 22, 2019.
OPP investigators have completed their investigation and on Sept. 1, 2019, charged Cody Blain, 26 years old, of Midland with the following offenses contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
- Theft under $5000
- Mischief under $ 5,000
- Fail to comply with probation order
He was released from police custody on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on Oct. 3, 2019.
