City police are investigating a fire at a Harley-Davidson repair shop in Barrie's south end and are looking for the public's help.

Barrie firefighters responded to a call to Hawg Worx, located at 121 Welham Rd., at 1:08 a.m., Sunday.

Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon told BarrieToday that the fire is being investigated.

“The fire is suspicious and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal is also assisting with the investigation,” said Leon. “We encourage anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.”

A post on the Hawg Worx Facebook page says the fire had “been significant enough that we will be closed for a few days until we are granted access.”
