Suspects charged in Canadian Tire theft investigation

Barrie Police Service have identified and located both males allegedly responsible for the theft from Canadian Tire dating back to Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018. 

A 27-year-old Tottenham man was arrested on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 and was charged with theft under $5,000 and three counts of fail to comply with probation order. He was held for a bail hearing however has since been released from custody with a first appearance date in late March. 

The second male, a 34-year-old from New Tecumseth, was arrested on Saturday, March 10, 2018 and charged with theft under $5,000. He was released from the Barrie Police Service with a court date in April to answer to his charges.
