Suspected cocaine, fentanyl seized in high-risk takedown in Bradford

Two men were arrested and accused of trafficking; Police say they confiscated an ounce of cocaine and a half-ounce of fentanyl

The South Simcoe Police Service Street Crime Unit has made two arrests following an investigation into drug trafficking in Bradford.

On Thursday, July 16, 2020, Street Crime Unit officers and the Canine Unit conducted a high-risk takedown in the area of Holland Street West and Harmony Crescent.

Two men were arrested without incident.

  • 25-year-old Shane Trought of Toronto was charged with trafficking suspected cocaine and suspected fentanyl and possession for the purpose of trafficking suspected fentanyl and suspected cocaine.
  • 30-year-old Bradley Milne of Bradford was charged with possession of suspected cocaine and suspected fentanyl.

Police seized one ounce of suspected cocaine and 1/2 ounce of suspected fentanyl.
 
Both accused were transported to the South Division where they were released with future court dates.
