Barrie police have released a surveillance image of a man wanted in connection to an alleged theft in the city's south end.
Police say the man was caught on camera stealing an electric drain auger, valued at $569.
The incident happened Thursday, June 18 at the Home Depot on Barrie View Drive.
Police say he was going back into the store after buying one auger and using the bill as part of his ploy to walk out with another one, which they referred to in a tweet as a "very sneaky approach, but at least we have a close up of him."
