A Canadian organization spreading the word about the country's most-wanted suspects has ranked one of the men believed to be involved with Elnaz Hajtamiri's violent abduction from Wasaga Beach in the top-25.
Bolo, which stands for "be on the lookout," ranked Deshawn Davis at No. 11 for Canada's most wanted as police continue their search for him.
Ontario Provincial Police has an outstanding arrest warrant for Davis, who is 35 years old and from Toronto, for his suspected involvement in Hajtamiri's abduction.
Elnaz Hajtamiri was abducted on Jan. 12, 2022 around 8:30 p.m. from a Trailwood Place home where she was staying.
Police say Hajtamiri was snatched by people dressed in fake police gear, who then stuffed her into a white Lexus RX SUV and fled. She was 37 years old at the time.
She has not been seen or heard from since.
Anyone with information about Davis or his whereabouts is asked to contact the OPP immediately at 1-888-310-1122 or through the dedicated tip line at 1-833-728-3415. Police warn the public not to approach Davis if they see him.
A $100,000 reward, issued jointly by the OPP and York Regional Police, is available to anyone who brings forward information that leads to Hajtamiri's whereabouts.
In addition, Bolo's executive director, Max Langlois, announced additional rewards under the Bolo Lineup program. Any Canadian resident aged 18 years or older can participate in the reward initiative by identifying wanted people in a series of lineups.
Participants will have a chance to collect one of 100 prizes, including a $10,000 travel voucher, computers, gaming consoles, tablets and gift cards. For information on each case, visit boloprogram.org.
Police have arrested several people in connection with Hajtamiri's disappearance from Wasaga Beach and the violent assault of Hajtamiri in Richmond Hill two weeks before.
On Dec. 20, 2021 Hajtamiri was attacked and struck with a frying pan in her underground parking garage on King William Crescent in Richmond Hill, near Yonge Street and Bantry Avenue. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have charged Hajtamiri's former boyfriend, Mohamad Lilo, with her murder. He is currently facing first-degree murder charges in court.

Hajtamiri stands approximately five-foot-three and is of slim build and had shoulder-length black hair until it had been cut to a shorter length before she was abducted.
