SPECIAL OLYMPICS ONTARIO

On Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run (OLETR) in co-operation with Special Olympics Ontario is hosting the Guardians Half Marathon and 5km.

The event will begin at OPP General Headquarters in Orillia, and is open to ALL runners and law enforcement agencies.

The event is to raise awareness along with money for the athletes and families of Special Olympics Ontario.  

This organization helps provide quality sports and training programs for children, youth and adults with an intellectual disability that are only possible through the generous donations that are raised at events such as this.

The event also offers a 5k route for friends, family and athletes. All participants will receive a t-shirt and medal.

Half Marathon:

  • $40 until June 30
  • $60 until Aug. 31
  • $80 Sept. 1 until race day

5km:

  • $20 until June 30
  • $25 until Aug. 31
  • $30 Sept. 1 until race day
