W.C. Little Elementary School in the city's south end was under a hold-and-secure Tuesday morning after information about a possible incident was received over the weekend.
Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon said officials at the Bear Creek Drive school appear to have been made aware of a possible incident over the weekend and safety precautions were being taken today because of it.
“It doesn’t appear to be anything serious, but they’re just making 100 per cent sure,” Leon told BarrieToday.
The hold-and-secure was ended shortly before 11 a.m.
