Investigators with the Barrie Police Homicide Unit have arrested and charged the second suspect, a 24-year-old man from London, wanted for the Aug. 13, 2017 shooting on Mulcaster Street and Lakeshore Drive, in the City of Barrie.

Dylan Brown, 24-year-old who was wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for attempted murder, was arrested by London Police Service on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017. The Barrie Police Service has since taken custody of Dylan Brown. He appeared before an Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on Tuesday and was remanded until Aug. 28, 2017.

Further investigation has led to the arrest of 43-year-old Douglas Pritchett, of Barrie, the father of Max Cameron Pritchett. Douglas Pritchett has been arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to attempt murder, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, unauthorized possession of a firearm and careless handling of a firearm. He is scheduled to appear before an Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2017.

Max Cameron Pritchett is described as:

  • Male, white (21 yrs.)
  • 5’8", 142 lbs.
  • Medium build
  • Brown hair and blue eyes
