On Friday, April 22, 2016, Police were called to a coffee shop on Quarry Ridge in the City of Barrie in regards to a male up on the roof.

On Friday, April 22, 2016, Police were called to a coffee shop on Quarry Ridge in the City of Barrie in regards to a male up on the roof. On arrival, Police learned that the same male had been trespassed from the coffee shop one week prior due to a similar incident.

Police located the 18-year-old male on the roof and brought him back down to safety. Police then placed the male under arrest for trespassing at which time the male became combative and bit one of the officers. Police gained control of the male and he was later charged with assault police with intent to resist arrest and mischief under $5,000.

In the early morning hours of Saturday, April 23, 2016, Police responded to an address on Heath Street in the City of Barrie in regards to a break and enter. The homeowner advised that an unknown female entered through the front door and was hiding in the basement.

On arrival, Police learned that the 18-year-old female was intoxicated and broke into the residence to avoid paying for her taxi fare. The female was subsequently charged with forcible entry.
