March is Fraud Prevention Month. The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC) and the Barrie Police Service encourages you to know more about the different scams fraudsters use to steal money and/or identities.

Numerous scams are occurring every day throughout the country. Arm yourself with the correct information and how to properly report it. For information visit the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and the Barrie Police websites. The more you know about a specific scam, the less likely you are to be a victim.
