The Barrie Police Service Traffic Unit is asking the public for assistance in identifying a truck involved in a fail to remain occurrence on Friday, Oct. 29.
Just before 8 a.m., a truck was traveling northbound on Huronia Road at Loon Avenue when it is believed to have made contact with the power lines, and as a result, pulled down the power lines on the south side of the intersection.
This occurrence caused extensive damage and lengthy road closures.
Investigators are looking to identify the driver and vehicle involved in this occurrence. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Peters at [email protected] or 705-725-7025 ext. 2912.
