Police seek suspect in attempted theft

A woman was in the electronic section looking at a pair of headphones. The woman was seen carrying the box to another aisle and shortly after left the store

INNISFIL - On Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, around 11 p.m., South Simcoe Police received a call from an Innisfil pharmacy to report an attempted theft on (that) date. A woman entered the store around 8:45 p.m. and was in the electronic section looking at a pair of headphones. The woman was seen carrying the box to another aisle and shortly after left the store.

While an employee was walking by an aisle, an audible sound was heard. This sound lead them directly to the box containing the headphones hidden behind other products. The security mechanism was still attached but had been tampered with.

The female is described as having dark hair and skin. Wearing prescription glasses, dressed in a blue sweatshirt with a Superman logo, black skirt, black tights and white sandals.
