Police search for pickup truck that hit city bus

Incident happened at Anne and Brock Streets on January 28

The Barrie Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance after a fail to remain collision occurred in the City of Barrie.

On Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020 at approximately 12:40 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Anne and Brock Streets where a City of Barrie transit bus had been struck by a pickup truck that left the scene. The pickup truck is described as grey in colour and should have damage to the passenger side mirror and possibly the surrounding area.

The truck bed area is open and contains a uniquely angled aluminum mid-size tool box that appears to have two handles, one on each side and a nameplate in the centre that may read Kobalt in blue lettering.
