Barrie Police are investigating a calculated break and enter to a south end Barrie business when employees realized multiple storage areas had been entered with the awkward inventory missing.

On Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016 at 5:55 a.m. police were called to a business on Lennox Drive, in the City of Barrie, for the break and enter.

It appears the suspects entered the premise and gained entry to the secured storage area removing multiple new tires that were being stored during the busiest time of year for the business.

Initial inventory is showing somewhere between 20-30 new tires without rims were taken in what is believed to be a single axel truck, SUV or van that was pulled into the neighbouring business.

Police are continuing their investigation at this time and wish for anyone who may have information to please contact PC J Wyville of the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025 ext. 2508 or email at [email protected]

Any information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or leave an anonymous tip online at www.tipsubmit.com.
