Police say teen caught driving 160 km/h in an 80 zone

Innisfil resident loses licence and vehicle for seven days, faces speeding and stunt driving charges

BRADFORD - On Sunday, April 12, 2020, a South Simcoe Police Service officer observed a vehicle accelerating at a high rate of speed on County Road 4 in Bradford. 

Speeds were confirmed at 160 km/h and shortly after at 149 km/h both in the 80km/h zone. The driver was eventually stopped with the assistance of a second police vehicle and was charged. 

His licence and vehicle were seized for seven days. 

Dylan Lombard Wilson, 18, of Innisfil, has been charged with speeding and stunt driving.
