There is a heavy police presence in Barrie's Letitia Heights neighbourhood, but what led to the call remains unknown.
Barrie police seem to be focused on one house located on Browning Trail, near the intersection of Barrett Crescent. A police tactical vehicle is parked in a driveway on the street and there are at least five police cruisers in the vicinity. There is also an ambulance on scene.
Roads are blocked off in the area and there did not appear to be any bystanders watching the situation unfold.
Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon, when contacted by BarrieToday, said they were not releasing any details about the call. He did call the situation an "isolated incident."
