Police looking to solve wallet theft

A credit card from the wallet was used. Police need the assistance of the public to identify the person who used it

Barrie Police Service is looking for the public's assistance in locating a male who was captured on video surveillance using a stolen credit card.

On Wednesday, April 25, 2018 the victim realized his wallet had been removed from his vehicle parked at a residence on Garden Drive, in the City of Barrie, overnight.  When checks were made into the stolen cards it was found that a credit card was used at Circle K Convenience, Subway and Barrie Taxi.  The investigation led officers to collect video surveillance at the Circle K located at 610 Huronia Road, in the City of Barrie, where a male was observed using the tap function to purchase miscellaneous items. 

Description:

  • Male, white
  • Slender build 
  • Light brown hair
  • Wearing a black 'Crooks & Castles' hooded sweatshirt, black leather jacket, black jeans and brown work boots

Police are still continuing their investigation at this time.
